Beauty in Mind and Actions for Sustainable Business
South-South Entrepreneurship Academy Second Cohort 2021, 11 December 2021
The United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) and Gratia Christian College (Hong Kong, SAR) are pleased to announce the winners of the South-South Entrepreneurship Academy: 2021 Second Cohort Business Plan Competition on “Beauty in Mind and Actions for Sustainable Business”.
The virtual event was supported by the Pacific Island Private Sector Organisation and Hong Kong institutions including Cyberport, Youth Square and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Hong Kong Association.
Participants from 7 countries namely Angola, Philippines, Azerbaijan, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Zambia and Botswana took part in the competition.
Presentations were assessed by a panel of judges from the academia, business and international organizations including Mr. Howard Politini, Pacific Island Private Sector Organisation (PIPSO), Professor Divya Singhal, Goa Institute of Management, India, Professor Allen Wong, Associate Vice President, UNESCO Hong Kong Association, Mr. Bernard Lee, President Rotary Club, Hong Kong Island, Professor Amelia Naim Indrajaya, IPMI International Business School, Indonesia and Ms. Pinxin Chen, PwC, HK and former coordinator of the Youth Academy.
The competition was assessed based on the originality of idea, practicality/feasibility of product/service, Social, Economic and Environmental Attributes, financial plan, team structure and presentation skills.
The judge panel arrived at the following results, which have been verified by the organisers.
