On 16 August 2018, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Thailand Office, will co-organize the 4th TICA Connect: “Five Decades of Thailand and UNFPA Partnership: Advancing towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand.
The 4th TICA Connect will feature aspects of successful partnership between TICA and UNFPA with a focus on public health sector, including the launch of UNFPA-Thailand Solution Network on Making Motherhood Safer.
TICA Connect is held regularly with an aim to highlight development cooperation and partnerships of TICA with its key partners, through South-South and triangular cooperation, and promote development models in areas that Thailand has expertise such as agriculture and public health, including the application of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. Moreover, it is expected to help strengthen existing and build new partnerships for cooperation in the future.
Participants will include over 200 members of the public, Diplomatic Missions, and International Organizations together with academia, think tanks and relevant non-governmental organizations.
